Archos 5 Internet Tablet Now Supports OpenGL Thanks to 2.0.15 Update

While Archos 5 Internet Tablet isn’t our first choice when it comes to tablets, due to various reasons like the sluggish UI, resistive touchscreen and closed OS, it is quiet a good alternative that works well for some. And to make it work even better – especially if you’re into portable gaming gadgets – the French company has just released an Archos’ 2.0.15 update that turns the so-so Android 1.6 tablet into a real cool gaming machine that supports OpenGL and makes games like Speed Forge 3D and Raging Thunder II look really good and playable. You can download this 89MB update from here, while watching the video after the break.
