LG unveils new portable HDD lineup, coming up in Korea with 2.5 inch drives, SATA II interface and a USB 2.0 port. The new XD1series presents 3 different capacities, including 120GB, 160GB, 250GB to be released first, and a 320GB version to make a debut later on. All versions come with black pearl or red wine flavors at your choice, for a non disclosure price tag. Stay tuned for more information to come.

To comply with our growing needs, Fujitsu has created the MHZ2 BT, a new hard drive with half terabyte storage size, that’s 500GB in a 2.5-inch HDD and a 12.5mm height. Korean company, IOTEK, introduced the ezSECU, a 2.5-inch HDD case, equipped with a secured, code input touch panel, blocking your way to access any stored data. In order to penetrate inside you need to feed in a preset PIN number, contains up to 12 digits, otherwise, you are banned. The case features one-touch locking element and compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS 9.2.
