Onda VX560 Touchscreen PMP Introduced, Bares Noble Aspirations To Be a Tablet

It’s been a while since we’ve last heard from Onda, but it seems like the Chinese brand has now managed to return to business, this time on a new shape and form embodied in a 7-inch slate/PMP device, known as the VX560, and might (just might) remind you of quite another tablet machine on another world entirely. But it’s not. In fact, it’s just a natural evolution of the product, that now boasts a 800 x 480 touchscreen display, stuffed with an ebook reader (supporting PDF, PDB, and CHM files), and outputs 1080p videos via HDMI, along some other common formats such as H.264-MKV, AVI, MOV, MPG, and FLV. Still no word about price or availability for our Western audience across the globe, but looks like Eastern chaps will get their chance to add one to the cart in the not too distant future.

Onda To Release The VX555HD, Another PMP In The High-Def Dynasty

It looks like Chinese corporation Onda is trying to flood the market with HD players, supporting 720P video quality. Otherwise, it would be hard to explain why on earth the company has just released the VX555HD, only 3 months after the VX535HD has made its first appearance in public. HD compatibility aside, the new PMP packs a 3-inch display, an FM tuner, TV output and wide range of codecs support. Other than that, the people in Onda  promise a low and competitive price tag that will match global recession atmosphere, and while availability is obscure you’ll have to stay tuned to learn more.

New Onda VX535HD Will Support High-Def Video Content

Onda makes a major step towards high-definition integration, as the Chinese company has unveiled their latest VX535HD PMP, which includes the new CC1600 ‘HD’ chip that allows playing quality 720P videos on the efficient 4.3-inch 800×480 display. Unfortunately, the media player is lack of wireless connectivity, but instead you get everything you need to handle your multimedia stuff. There are no further details to share at this point, but you can hit the link below to find more images.

Onda VX626 PMP Packs a TV Tuner Inside

Chinese company Onda, announces the release of the VX626 PMP, to be available in early December with a 2.8-inch screen, Rockchips RK2706 processor and the usual features, including an FM tuner, e-book reader,  and even high-resolution video support. Still, no info concerning the price, but those who buy this one, will enjoy a built-in CMMB receiver, which means, a portable TV inside.

Onda has introduced its latest VX787 PMP, coming up with a 4.3-inch touchscreen (480 x 272), a microphone, a speaker, an FM tuner, 7 EQ, microSD slot, a TV output and storage capacity, ranged from 2GB up to 16GB. This player, which is about to make a debut in September, supports wide variety of formats, including MP3, WMA, ASF, WMV9 SP, MPEG-4 SP, RM / RMVB, AVI, FLV, ASF, MP4, MPG, MOV, WMA, WMV, 3GP, SWF, TXT, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and plays 30 hours of audio against 10 hours of video. Onda VX777 PMP Gets Prices And a Video Preview

Onda has introduced its latest VX777 PMP, back in May, featuring a 3-inch touchscreen (400 x 240), WiFi capabilities, a microphone, a speaker, an FM tuner, 7 EQ, an E-book reader, a microSD slot, a TV output and storage capacity, ranged from 2GB up to 8GB. This iPod killer, which is about to make a debut next week, supports wide variety of codecs, including MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, RM / RMVB, AVI, FLV, ASF, MP4, MPG, MOV, WMA, WMV, 3GP, SWF, JPEG, BMP, GIF or PNG, and plays 30 hours of audio against 10 hours of video. Pre-order prices are standing at $89, $99 and $109 for the 2GB, 4GB and 8GB models respectivly, so if you are looking for an alternative touchscreen player, packed with tons of features and low prices, it might be the one. Onda Unveils The New VX777 PMP, Coming With a Touchscreen And WiFi Capabilities

Onda wants to advance to a higher league, as the company has announced the release of the new VX777 PMP, equipped with a wide 4.3-inch touchscreen (480 x 272) and WiFi capabilities, to play web-radio stations whenever you hit the hotspot (it’s not clear if there’s a built-in browser) . The player features a microphone, a speaker, an FM tuner, 7 EQ, an E-book reader, a microSD slot, a TV output and storage capacity, ranged from 2GB up to 16GB. It supports wide variety of codecs, including MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, RM / RMVB, AVI, FLV, ASF, MP4, MPG, MOV, WMA, WMV, 3GP, SWF, JPEG, BMP, GIF or PNG, and plays 30 hours of audio against 10 hours of video. No word on price, but the V777 is set to be released in China around August.
