Samsung Galaxy Tab Devices to Get Ice Cream Sandwich Update in July

Samsung Galaxy Tab’s new range of tablets to get an Ice Cream Sandwich update this coming July. According to a SamMobile report, Google’s latest and greatest Android 4.0 OS will show up early next month and lucky Tab owners who happen to have either Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7 or Tab 7.0 will get the firmware upgrade the moment it is released, while most other devices will be getting it in August. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Officially Introduced

Samsung has just introduced its latest entry, the Galaxy Tab 7.7. The South Korean giant, which seem to be popping up all over the place at the moment, announced this new Android tablet device with an Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) operating system, running on top of a a 7.7-inch (1280 x 800) Super AMOLED Plus display, featuring Samsung’s TouchWiz UX layer beneath, a powerful dual-core 1.4GHz processor, an HSPA+ radio, a microSD card slot, up to 64GB of storage, 802.11n WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, front and rear 2.0MP/3.0MP cameras and a 5,100mAh battery, providing merely 10 hours of work. And while the line of specs is definitely impressive, we’re still on a hunt for the price and availability of this new, upcoming 0.74-pound and 7.89 mm thin slab.
