We’re not so sure why Fidelity Electronic has decided to launch the Very Personal Computer netbook, considering there are much better solutions out there in the pond, but it looks like the company is targeting the low-end market, offering a $199 deal instead of $400 in other places. But the tempting price might end up as a big fiasco, specially when we’re getting down to the details, realizing you can only receive a 7-inch 800 x 480 WVGA display, an SD card reader, 2GB(!) of internal storage, a 3-cell battery, WiFi b/g connection and a bulky design. Luckily, Itll come preloaded with a 100MHz internet browser, a media player, e-book reader, a dictionary, a calendar and some other spreadsheet apps, to let you feel better for throwing almost two hundred bucks for this piece of metal. Please let us know if you’re one of the few crazy collectors who plan to buy their very own VPC, when it goes on sale, somewhere in March.
