    Nir,

I get my specs from owning a TAO. And I can tell you as a fact…not by just repeating what I’ve read somewhere but from what I have in my hands…that the TAO has no FM, no TV out, and no internal memory. With respect to the memory, I personally think that’s a good thing. As to pricing, the only outfit that currently sells the TAO to the US is allPMP, which sells an 8GB unit for $144 plus shipping. Play Smart in Singapore used to sell the TAO to the US for $150 with zero memory but stopped when some TAOs came up with screen issues.

    Bradley,

I’m not so sure where do you get your info from, but the specs for this new TAO PMP are reliable. You can check the following posts from other blogs, supporting my version: http://bit.ly/42iL3d, http://bit.ly/1FlMQr,

Get your facts right. The Tao does NOT have FM tuner and like all SmartQ products it has NO built-in internal memory — ALL memory is on the SDHC card. The firmware is also on the SDHC card, which is good — it’s impossible to brick this player by messing the firmware….all you have to do is reformat the SDHC card and reload the firmware on to it. Finally, you got the price wrong as well…to the US, this unit costs ~$150 with zero memory, and the price goes up from there.
