Archos has just announced their plans to release a brand new Android tablet, scheduled to come out in time for the 2012 holiday season. Surely, the most busiest season of the year, where shoppers are hustling around trying to find the perfect gifts for their family and friends. Speaking of which, a family, as a family, is pretty much like a one big package during this particular period of time of the year, which best explains the rationale behind that recent tablet announcement – A 13.3 inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich slab, dubbed the FamilyPad (no word regarding a Jelly Bean update). Yes, you got that right, Archos wants you to share your digital experience with your loved ones, and it’s doing so by launching a big-screen device, running a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU under the lid, alongside a 1,280×800 HD display on top, 8GB of storage, two cameras with 2-megapixels each, HDMI out and a microSD card slot.
